ADNEC Group Launches Captain ADIBS To Break Guinness World Record For Largest Inflatable Pool Float
The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) 2025 is set to return from November 20 to 23. Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, the event promises an expanded lineup of family-friendly activities and live entertainment at the ADNEC Marina Hall. Visitors can look forward to exciting waterfront experiences suitable for all ages.
In collaboration with Experience Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards, ADNEC Group will introduce a new attraction. A giant inflatable flamingo named Captain ADIBS will be unveiled on one of Abu Dhabi’s vibrant waterfronts. This massive float aims to break a Guinness World Record as the largest inflatable pool float.

Captain ADIBS stands over 23 meters tall, 17 meters long, and 19 meters wide. Inspired by UAE's native wetland species, it will be visible from several iconic locations from November 15 to 18. Public viewing sites include Yas Bay Waterfront, Etihad Arena, and Al Raha Beach coastline.
The flamingo will then move to the ADNEC Marina from November 20 to 23. It will welcome visitors to one of the region’s leading marine events. The seventh edition of the Boat Show celebrates everything related to the marine industry with local and international exhibitors.
The event features diverse entertainment options. The Al Forsan Display Team will perform high-energy aerial shows, while the Navigation Hub offers fun rides and scenic water taxi experiences. The Young Voyager zone returns, providing children a space to play and learn about marine ecosystems.
Adding to the festive atmosphere are various roaming acts like Luma Drummers, Wave Dancers, and a brass trio of musicians. These performances ensure top-quality entertainment throughout the show for all attendees.
This year’s Boat Show promises an engaging experience for everyone involved. With its mix of attractions and activities, it highlights both local culture and international marine trends.
