ADJD Highlights Importance Of Legal Awareness At Sharjah International Book Fair 2024
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is taking part in the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) at the Sharjah Expo Centre, running until 17th November 2024. This participation aims to enhance legal knowledge and awareness within the community, supporting sustainable development and justice.
The ADJD's involvement aligns with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The focus is on promoting legal culture through various cultural and community events, ensuring a broad reach across different community segments. The department highlights services by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Community and Legal Awareness (Masouliya), emphasising campaigns that encourage behaviours consistent with community values.

These initiatives play a preventive role in reducing risks and cybercrimes by explaining legal liabilities associated with such offences. This approach creates a secure framework for protection. Additionally, the ADJD showcases services in juvenile care centres within the Correctional and Rehabilitation Centres Sector. These services align with global best practices to support rehabilitation efforts.
Rehabilitation and Guidance for Juveniles
The initiatives aim to instil positive values in juveniles, reshape their behaviour, and enhance skills through vocational workshops and cultural programmes. These efforts are designed to advance rehabilitation and reform processes effectively. Visitors can access copies of legal publications provided by the Judicial Department.
Enriching Judicial Knowledge
The collection includes specialised books and publications in the judicial field, featuring updated legislation, laws, research, and studies. These resources aim to enrich judicial work, track interpretations, and keep pace with legislative developments. By providing these materials, the ADJD supports continuous learning within the legal community.
The ADJD's participation at SIBF reflects its commitment to spreading legal knowledge and fostering a culture of awareness among diverse community members. Through showcasing services and providing valuable resources, it contributes significantly to sustainable development and justice foundations in society.
