ADJD Participates In ADIBF 2025 To Enhance Community Legal Awareness And Culture

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is taking part in the 34th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF). This event is held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 26 April to 5 May 2025. The fair's theme, "Knowledge Illuminates Our Community," aligns with the Department's goal of enhancing legal awareness and promoting cultural engagement within the community.

At this year's fair, ADJD presents an integrated pavilion with various interactive sections. A key feature is a dedicated area showcasing recent legal publications. This section provides visitors with insights into legislative updates and serves as a valuable resource for researchers and those interested in legal matters.

ADJD Promotes Legal Awareness at ADIBF 2025

In its efforts to support family and community stability, the pavilion offers direct consultations on family and psychological issues. These sessions are led by experts in social and psychological fields, aiming to foster dialogue and understanding within families. Additionally, the pavilion highlights the Family and Child Prosecution's role in safeguarding children's rights during family disputes through awareness initiatives.

The pavilion also includes a humanitarian initiative displaying artwork and products made by inmates from correctional and rehabilitation centres. This initiative supports rehabilitation programs, showcasing inmates' skills to enhance their future opportunities for community integration.

To cater to non-Arabic speaking visitors, the pavilion offers legal services in English. This ensures that all visitors can access comprehensive services, reflecting ADJD's commitment to meeting diverse societal needs. The Abu Dhabi Legal and Community Awareness Centre "Masouliya" also features various programs aimed at building a sustainable legal culture that bolsters security and stability.

A special area for children is set up within the pavilion, offering educational activities tailored to their age group. These activities introduce children to laws in a simplified manner, enriching their understanding of rights and duties through an engaging learning environment.

The ADJD's participation at ADIBF underscores its dedication to spreading legal knowledge across different community segments. By providing resources like updated legal publications and interactive educational activities, it aims to foster a well-informed society that values dialogue, understanding, and cultural engagement.
