ADJD Hosts Workshops To Enhance Travel Procedures With Smart Services In Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) recently held workshops to introduce electronic and smart services for travel procedures in Abu Dhabi. These sessions targeted employees from Abu Dhabi Airports Company, particularly Zayed International Airport, and staff from Air and Sea Ports Management at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security.
The initiative aimed to familiarise employees with ADJD's innovative systems and services to improve the travel experience, especially concerning judicial decisions related to travel bans. A significant feature introduced was the automatic cancellation of enforcement decisions related to financial payments once the payment process is completed electronically.

During the workshops, participants received an overview of litigation procedures in Abu Dhabi. They also learned about judicial procedures related to travel bans and how to inquire about them using the smart app and digital payment channels. The sessions highlighted the system for automatic cancellation of enforcement decisions related to financial payments, which operates 24/7, even on official holidays.
Counsellor Yousef Al Abri, Under-Secretary of ADJD, emphasised the department's commitment to developing judicial and legal services. He stated that this effort aligns with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of ADJD.
"We are dedicated to implementing global standards for fast procedure processing," said Al Abri. "Our goal is to provide a pioneering and distinctive experience in the judicial sector." He added that technological advancements, smart services, and artificial intelligence are central to this initiative.
Strategic Vision
The workshops align with ADJD's strategic plan and forward-looking vision. This vision aims to achieve an advanced judicial system that ensures rights and equitable justice. Enhanced cooperation with strategic partners is crucial for ensuring speed and ease of service delivery in accordance with Abu Dhabi Government standards.
Al Abri highlighted that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to maintain excellence in service quality. "We aim for leadership in service quality," he noted. This commitment ensures that ADJD remains at the forefront of innovative judicial and legal services.
The workshops also covered pertinent updates in the field. These updates are essential for keeping employees informed about new developments and ensuring they can effectively use the latest technologies in their roles.
This initiative by ADJD represents a significant step towards modernising judicial services in Abu Dhabi. By leveraging technology and smart solutions, ADJD aims to enhance efficiency and provide a seamless experience for all stakeholders involved in travel procedures.
