The regular meeting of the Committee for Experts, Conciliators, and Mediators Affairs was recently chaired by Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD). This gathering aimed to boost the effectiveness of technical expertise, mediation, and conciliation in resolving disputes. The focus was on achieving high standards of quality and accuracy in tasks performed by experts and mediators, thereby enhancing Abu Dhabi's judicial system.

During the meeting, Counselor Yousef Al Abri highlighted the department's dedication to maintaining professionalism, integrity, and transparency among experts and mediators. This commitment aligns with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The goal is to strengthen a judicial system that upholds justice and the rule of law in Abu Dhabi.

ADJD Enhances Mediation and Expert Efficiency

The committee examined 21 applications for inclusion in the mediators' register. They decided to move forward with registration procedures for those who meet all criteria. These criteria include completing an approved training program at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy. This step aims to facilitate amicable settlements in civil and commercial disputes.

Additionally, three experts were approved for registration in various specialties within the practicing experts' register. Approval was contingent upon meeting established conditions and regulations for providing specialised technical expertise before Abu Dhabi Courts.

The committee also addressed requests from four experts seeking renewal of their registrations. Decisions were made to ensure these experts continue offering services that meet required professional standards. This process ensures ongoing competence in their respective fields.

A single complaint received by the committee was thoroughly examined. Appropriate procedures were followed to resolve it according to existing rules and regulations. This approach underscores the committee's commitment to addressing issues transparently and effectively.

This meeting reflects ongoing efforts to refine Abu Dhabi's judicial processes through expert involvement. By ensuring high standards among professionals, the department aims to foster a robust legal framework that supports fair dispute resolution across various sectors.
