ADFD Delegation Explores EMSTEEL's Contributions To Sustainable Industrial Practices In The UAE
A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX), part of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), visited EMSTEEL Group. This visit aimed to showcase the support ADFD and ADEX provide to boost national exports and enhance their global competitiveness. The delegation was led by Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, ADFD Director-General, and included other key officials.
The group was welcomed by Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of EMSTEEL, along with other executives. During their visit, they toured Emirates Steel, a subsidiary of EMSTEEL. The tour highlighted the company's role in producing iron, steel, and construction materials, contributing significantly to the UAE's industrial growth.

Al Suwaidi praised EMSTEEL’s impact on the industrial sector in the UAE. He noted that this visit was an excellent opportunity to strengthen ties with major UAE companies in the steel and iron industry. He stated, "We are intensifying our efforts to provide essential support to national institutions operating in vital sectors."
He further explained that ADEX is committed to offering financial solutions that help Emirati industries expand globally. This support is crucial for achieving sustainable economic diversification and enhancing the presence of Emirati industries worldwide.
Al Remeithi spoke about EMSTEEL's significant contribution to the UAE’s growth strategy. He expressed confidence in achieving their vision of becoming a leading global steel manufacturer. "We are confident in our ability to achieve our vision of becoming one of the best steel manufacturers globally," he said.
He also highlighted EMSTEEL's commitment to the UAE's industrial strategy ‘Operation 300 billion’. Their products are used in iconic structures like Burj Khalifa and Guggenheim. Additionally, 80% of their energy comes from clean sources, aligning with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy.

Both parties stressed the importance of collaboration to position UAE as a hub for advanced industries. This partnership aims to drive sustainable economic development by doubling the industrial sector’s GDP contribution.
