Adeera Partners With Architecture And Design Commission To Promote Saudi Cultural Heritage In Hospitality

Adeera, a hotel management company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Architecture and Design Commission (ADC). This partnership aims to integrate Saudi Arabia's rich cultural heritage into Adeera's hotel brands. The collaboration aligns with the King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism, reinforcing Adeera's dedication to embedding Saudi identity within its hospitality experiences.

The agreement covers several key areas, focusing on advancing design fields, nurturing local talents, and promoting awareness of Saudi Arabia's diverse cultural heritage. It includes implementing the King Salman Urban Charter Values in Adeera's design standards. This ensures that Saudi cultural and urban identity are reflected in their projects.

Adeera and ADC Collaborate on Cultural Heritage

One of the primary goals is to support the growth of Saudi design talent. The agreement recommends local designers to Adeera for developing culturally inspired industrial products. These products will be integrated into Adeera's projects, showcasing Saudi creativity and craftsmanship.

Workshops and awareness activities for architects and designers will be organized under this partnership. These initiatives aim to highlight the influence of Saudi culture on design. They will be conducted in alignment with regulations upheld by both Adeera and ADC.

Dr. Sumaya Al-Solaiman, CEO of ADC, stated: "This partnership reflects our commitment to showcasing Saudi identity in the architecture and design sector while supporting local creatives in crafting hospitality experiences that authentically represent our rich culture. We believe that integrating local heritage into hotel projects contributes to achieving sustainable development goals and enhances the Kingdom's position as a global hub for creativity."

Adeera’s CEO Stefan Leser commented on their focus on innovating authentic Saudi character into their hotel brand identity. He emphasized drawing inspiration from Saudi cultural heritage by fostering local talents to craft hospitality experiences reflecting Adeera’s identity and storytelling.

Enhancing Heritage Through Innovation

The collaboration explores areas of cooperation under this MoU framework, fostering continuous innovation within Saudi Arabia’s hospitality and design sectors. It highlights ADC’s dedication to advancing architectural, urban, and industrial design fields that strengthen national identity.

This partnership not only reinforces Adeera’s vision as a national champion in hospitality but also contributes significantly to the local economy by enhancing cultural enrichment through sustainable development practices.
