ADDED And ADREC Collaborate To Empower Emirati Real Estate Agents In Al Ain Region
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) have joined forces to empower Emirati real estate agents in Al Ain. This collaboration aims to boost sustainable economic growth by providing 300 Emiratis with training and certification to become licensed real estate agents. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the socio-economic landscape of the Al Ain region.
ADREC will facilitate the enrolment of Emiratis into accredited training programmes offered by top institutions. Upon completion, participants will receive licences to operate as real estate agents, equipping them for success in a competitive market. This effort underscores ADDED's commitment to fostering private sector growth and creating employment opportunities for Emiratis.

Badr Al Olama, Acting Director-General of Economic Affairs at ADDED, stated, "ADDED is deeply committed to empowering Emirati talent and driving sustainable economic growth in Al Ain, with the real estate sector serving as a critical component of this objective. Our partnership with the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre goes beyond training — it is an investment in the potential of Emirati professionals, enabling them to lead a dynamic sector, bolster investor confidence and play a pivotal role in advancing diversification and bolstering the resilience of Abu Dhabi’s economy."
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for ADREC's strategy to integrate Emirati professionals into the local real estate sector. By nurturing well-trained brokers, ADREC aims to create local employment while ensuring high standards of professionalism and transparency. Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, emphasised their dedication: "At ADREC, we are dedicated to elevating the real estate sector by equipping Emirati talent with the skills and opportunities necessary to thrive."
The initiative aligns with ADREC's ongoing efforts to transform the real estate market into a globally competitive sector. It follows their recent collaboration with Dubai Land Department (DLD), which saw 500 Emirati brokers graduate from an accredited programme. These efforts highlight ADREC's leadership in aligning with Abu Dhabi’s vision for a sustainable economy.
This strategic partnership between ADDED and ADREC not only empowers Emirati talent but also strengthens investor confidence in Abu Dhabi's economy. By integrating skilled professionals into the real estate industry, both organisations aim to drive economic diversification and resilience across the emirate.
