ADAFSA Organises Forum To Strengthen National Service Programme In UAE
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) hosted a forum on Tuesday for partners of the Alternative National Service Programme. The event aimed to explore ways to enhance the programme's role in community service and development in the UAE. Representatives from various government and private sectors attended.
Saeed Al Bahri Al Ameri, Director-General of ADAFSA, highlighted the programme's significance in promoting positive citizenship values and national responsibility among Emirati youth. He stressed its importance in ensuring the continuity of food establishment operations during crises and maintaining sustainable food supply chains.

During the forum, participants reviewed the programme's achievements and discussed its challenges. The authority also shared future plans for developing the programme further. Two new agreements were signed to train recruits with additional partners, aiming to expand the programme's scope.
Al Ameri stated, "ADAFSA is proud to work and coordinate with the National and Reserve Service Authority in implementing the training programme for alternative national service recruits.
