The event is held under the patronage of H.H. ACRES 2026 Opens at Sharjah Expo Centre

ACRES 2026 brings together more than 120 participating entities, including real estate developers, investors, banks, financial institutions, property and project management companies and proptech firms, fully occupying 10,000 square metres of exhibition space and highlighting the growing strategic role of Sharjah’s property sector within the UAE and regional investment landscape.

Over 200 real estate projects are on display, covering residential units, mixed-use communities, commercial and industrial assets, investment land plots and sustainable developments, with several schemes presented in Sharjah for the first time, giving buyers, investors and institutions direct access to a wide range of opportunities across different budget levels and asset types.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais said the exhibition reflects Sharjah’s vision for a diversified and sustainable economy, noting that real estate has become a key driver of economic growth supported by strong investor confidence and an advanced regulatory framework, with transaction values rising from AED1.4 billion in 2024 to AED4.3 billion in 2025.

Al Owais also stressed that reduced registration fees approved by the Sharjah Executive Council directly enhance value for investors and exhibitors, while wider policy support continues to strengthen market confidence and encourages developers to launch new projects that match changing demand in both residential and commercial segments across the emirate.

Visitors and participants at Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition ACRES 2026 benefit from a 50 percent reduction in real estate registration fees on transactions completed during the four-day event, a measure designed to stimulate sales activity, improve cost competitiveness and encourage both individual buyers and institutional investors to finalise deals on site.

Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition ACRES 2026 regulation and market transparency

ACRES 2026 marks the introduction of Sharjah’s first escrow account regulatory system for real estate projects, under which purchaser payments are deposited into bank-managed accounts and released to developers according to construction milestones, a framework intended to strengthen transparency, safeguard investor funds and support long-term sector stability.

Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Shamsi said ACRES has evolved into a core platform showcasing the fast development of Sharjah’s real estate sector and positioning the emirate as a preferred destination for sustainable property investment, adding that government support, including reduced transaction fees during the exhibition, continues to stimulate demand and accelerate market activity.

Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi said the exhibition now serves as an operational platform that enhances transparency, professional standards and market clarity, reflecting the transformation of Sharjah’s real estate sector and its evolving business models, while Nawaf Obeid said ACRES enables developers to present new projects, gauge demand and explore financing and ownership solutions.
