Abu Dhabi Executive Council Establishes Youth Council’s Seventh Cycle For 2025-2028

The Abu Dhabi Executive Council has introduced the seventh cycle of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council for 2025-2028. This new council includes young Emiratis from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, showcasing a wide range of talents. These members will represent youth across the emirate, launching initiatives to educate and empower them in various sectors.

Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, stated, "The formation of the seventh Abu Dhabi Youth Council reaffirms the emirate’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and the council’s pivotal role in advancing comprehensive and sustainable development. This continued approach ensures that each new generation of young leaders contributes to shaping the emirate’s future, in line with the vision and directives of the UAE leadership, which prioritises investing in youth, empowering them to achieve their aspirations, and increasing their participation in the development of policies and initiatives that further drive Abu Dhabi’s progress."

Formation of Abu Dhabi Youth Council's New Cycle

The council's new members include Saif Mohamed Salem Mubarak Al Mansoori, Aisha Yasser Al Khalifi, Shareena Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Saad Malalla Nasseb Saad AlWedami, Khalid Abdulnasser Saif Al Kaabi, Ahmed Abdulrahman Ali Al Ghurdaqah, Ghalia Saeed Almansoori, Noura Ahmed Mohamed Al Badi, Fatima Yousif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, and Mohammed Abdullah Saeed Al Habsi. They are tasked with fostering youth engagement through various initiatives.

Ghobash further explained that this council acts as a platform for young people from different fields to engage in decision-making. He said it allows them to present innovative ideas that enhance Abu Dhabi's competitiveness. This involvement ensures that the emirate benefits from their diverse expertise while strengthening their role in shaping strategic plans supporting community goals.

Saif Mohamed Salem Mubarak Al Mansoori serves as Branch Director of Strategic Planning at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. With over 13 years of experience in strategy and quality management, he has contributed to global events like COP28 UAE. Aisha Yasser Al Khalifi is a Channel Management Specialist at Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi. She has volunteered extensively at events such as COP28 UAE and holds advanced degrees in Business Administration.

Shareena Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi works as a Strategy Analyst at Emirates Foundation. She mentors students at Zayed University and founded an F&B venture aimed at uniting communities through experiences. Meanwhile, Saad Malalla Nasseb Saad AlWedami manages property at Solutions+, a Mubadala company. He holds a PhD in Business Management and founded Dopamine Foundation for Happiness and Positivity Initiatives.

Commitment to Education and Innovation

Khalid Abdulnasser Saif Al Kaabi is a Senior Analyst at Mubadala Investment Company who has worked internationally with refugee schools. His focus is on education enhancement and entrepreneurship support. Ahmed Abdulrahman Ali Al Ghurdaqah serves as Diplomat and Senior Legal Advisor at UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is also President of Arab Youth Council for Climate Change.

Ghalia Saeed Almansoori founded Kenaz Art Studio, exploring social issues through art. She completed an Art Fellowship with Salama Bint Hamdan Emerging Artists in New York City. Noura Ahmed Mohamed Al Badi is Senior Administrative Officer at Etihad Rail with expertise in leadership and project management.

Promoting Sustainability

Fatima Yousif Ahmed Al Suwaidi works as Senior Planning Engineer at ADNOC with a Master’s degree from Khalifa University. She has led initiatives supporting ADNOC’s sustainability goals like Tanmeya and Mangrove Plantation. Mohammed Abdullah Saeed Al Habsi is Facilities Integrity Specialist at ADNOC who has collaborated on energy transition projects with major companies like Tesla.

The inclusion of these individuals reflects Abu Dhabi's commitment to empowering youth by engaging them in development goals. This strategy focuses on continuity across cycles while building on past experiences to support creativity and innovation.
