Abu Dhabi University Achieves Milestone With Over 4,000 Research Publications In Scopus Index

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) has reached a significant milestone by surpassing 4,000 research publications indexed in Scopus. This achievement highlights ADU's dedication to impactful research that addresses global and societal challenges across various fields such as engineering, business, health sciences, and more. The university's commitment to advancing knowledge is evident in its scholarly contributions.

ADU's research influence is notable, with 16.9% of its work ranked among the top 10% most cited globally. Additionally, 27.5% of its publications appear in the top 10% journals by CiteScore. Collectively, these works have amassed 77,445 citations, averaging 19.4 citations per publication. This underscores the university's significant role in the global academic community.

ADU Surpasses 4,000 Research Publications

The university's Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) stands at an impressive 2.55, surpassing global standards and showcasing the profound impact of its research initiatives. ADU has established an extensive network of international collaborations, with 67.6% of its publications resulting from partnerships with 2,471 institutions worldwide.

These collaborations include esteemed institutions like Texas A&M University in the USA, University of Oxford in the UK, and University of Louisville in the USA. Such partnerships have led to 2,336 co-authored publications, reflecting ADU’s commitment to interdisciplinary research and cross-border scientific innovation.
