Abu Dhabi University To Host The 2nd International Conference On Advancing Sustainable Futures In December 2024

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is gearing up to host the 2nd International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures 2024 (ICASF '24). The event, under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, will occur from 11th to 12th December 2024 at the Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi. The conference aligns with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The conference theme, "Innovation and Digital Transformation for Sustainable Futures," has attracted significant interest. A total of 720 submissions were received, with 330 selected for presentation. These presentations will occur in 52 parallel sessions across 11 tracks. The event will feature over 65 keynote speakers and panellists from various national and international organisations and universities.

Speakers at ICASF '24 will delve into how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies can tackle sustainability challenges. They aim to shape communities that are resilient and prepared for the future. Discussions will cover a wide range of topics, including digital innovation in science, engineering, business, AI advancements, green IT, and data science for sustainability.

The conference will also explore the impact of digital transformation in fields like law, health, and education. Attendees will examine sustainable project management, corporate social responsibility, and innovative solutions to combat poverty. Financial implications of innovation and opportunities for early-career researchers will also be highlighted.

ICASF '24 will host seven panel discussions on diverse topics such as 'AI-Driven Innovation: Pioneering Sustainability in the Digital Transformation Era' and 'Empowering Inclusion and Change through Innovation.' Other panels include 'Driving Change: Innovation in Humanitarian Solutions,' 'Empowering Women in the Digital Age,' 'Navigating Finance for ESG,' 'Driving Sustainability through University Rankings,' and 'Data Science for Sustainability.'

The conference aims to foster global collaboration by bringing together ministers, diplomats, academics, researchers, industry experts, and policymakers from over 90 countries. This gathering provides a platform for exchanging ideas and catalysing impactful change towards a sustainable future.

Awards for Groundbreaking Research

ICASF '24 will honour outstanding research through its ‘Conference Best Research Paper’ awards. These awards spotlight contributions in areas such as digital-driven innovation, green technologies, sustainable education, AI advancements, and corporate social responsibility in the digital age.
