Abu Dhabi Set To Host Thrilling UFC Fight Night This August

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and UFC, the leading mixed martial arts organisation globally, have announced the return of UFC to Abu Dhabi on Saturday, 3rd August. The event will be hosted at Yas Island's Etihad Arena, marking it as the second UFC event in the UAE capital in less than a year. The fight card, which will be announced shortly, promises to showcase both international and local talent in a series of matches anticipated by fans worldwide.

The upcoming UFC Fight Night will be the 18th event held in Abu Dhabi since UFC 112: INVINCIBLE in April 2010. This follows last year's successful UFC 294: MAKHACHEV vs VOLKANOVSKI 2, where the sold-out Etihad Arena saw Islam Makhachev defend his lightweight title against Alexander Volkanovski. The event also marked the debut of Mohammad Yahya, the first-ever Emirati athlete to compete in UFC, highlighting the growth of UAE MMA.
