Abu Dhabi Authority's Program Equips Beneficiaries With Key Job Market Skills
The Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (SSA) recently celebrated the achievements of the fourth cohort of beneficiaries from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, who have successfully completed a comprehensive empowerment program. This initiative, conducted in partnership with Knowledge Group Consulting, a leader in vocational training and education, aims to prepare participants for the competitive job market by equipping them with a variety of essential skills.
The graduation ceremonies were held at Abu Dhabi University campuses in both cities, marking a significant milestone for the 138 graduates who have benefited from SSA's social support programs. Over an eight-week period, these individuals engaged in 225 hours of expert-led lectures and training workshops. The curriculum covered English language proficiency, workplace skills, information technology, project management, CV preparation, and interview skills. This effort has increased the total number of program beneficiaries to 453 by the end of this fourth edition.

During the ceremony, Abdulla Al Ameri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, alongside SSA executive directors, presented certificates to the graduates. Al Ameri emphasized the Authority's commitment to building productive partnerships to meet the aspirations of Abu Dhabi’s social sector and empower individuals based on their needs and capabilities. He highlighted the program as a crucial step towards securing sustainable income sources for the beneficiaries.
Qasim Al Hashimi, Executive Director of Beneficiary Affairs at SSA, congratulated the graduates and their families for their dedication to improving their skills and capabilities. He stressed the importance of such programs in helping participants achieve job market readiness, stability, and financial independence.
Dr. Ahmad Badr, CEO of Knowledge Group Consulting, expressed pride in their partnership with SSA and their role in enhancing beneficiaries' employability. This collaboration aims to support individuals in achieving social stability and financial independence.
Graduates Shehab Rashid from Abu Dhabi and Maitha Ishaq Abdullah Al Madani from Al Ain shared their gratitude towards SSA and Knowledge Group Consulting for providing them with the necessary skills to overcome challenges and secure a brighter future. They emphasized the importance of proactive engagement with SSA’s empowerment programs for achieving family stability and financial independence.
The SSA's strategic objective is to provide tailored support to those in need by offering skills training and educational programs that are aligned with job market requirements. Through its collaboration with Knowledge Group Consulting, SSA has successfully graduated 315 students across the program’s second and third cohorts, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to empowering its beneficiaries.
