Abu Dhabi To Launch First Edition Of Social Care Forum In Partnership With Deloitte

The Department of Community Development - Abu Dhabi (DCD) is hosting the first Social Care Forum on 2-3 October 2024, in collaboration with Deloitte (Middle East). The event's theme, "Enhancing Innovation and Cooperation in Social Care," aims to explore future trends in social care services, strategies for developing top talents in the sector, and innovative digital transformations.

The forum will gather local and international thought leaders, policymakers, practitioners, service providers, and innovators. They will discuss sector challenges, develop solutions, and share global best practices to improve quality of life sustainably. This initiative also aims to strengthen Abu Dhabi's leadership in social initiatives.

Inaugural Social Care Forum in Abu Dhabi

Mubarak Salem Al Ameri, Executive Director of the Social Licensing and Control Sector at DCD, stated, "Organising the Social Care Forum in Abu Dhabi comes as part of our efforts to strengthen and develop the social sector and the country, in line with our national vision and sustainable development goals. The forum brings together an elite group of experts, public and private sector service providers, policy-makers and innovators from various sectors to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of social care. This forum will enhance awareness of sector-specific issues and discuss innovative solutions to address the challenges it faces."

Keynote speeches by sector officials will cover inspiring topics. Panel discussions will address significant social care issues. Interactive workshops and case studies will highlight recent innovations and achievements. An exhibition will showcase influential works from social sector providers and innovators.

Al Ameri emphasised that over 500 visitors, participants, and specialists are expected at the two-day forum. He noted that this provides a platform for shaping the future of social care through collaboration between public and private sectors. Through our cooperation with Deloitte (Middle East), we emphasise the importance of public and private sector collaboration in organising forums that achieve integration of roles to provide the best services to all members of our society."
