ADEK has expanded the programme internationally by incorporating institutions from countries like China, Italy, Russia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam. This year marks the introduction of a new Master's Programme focusing on social fields at prestigious universities including Columbia University in the USA, University of Toronto in Canada, and University of Melbourne in Australia.

This new initiative covers areas like Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Family Counseling, Psychotherapy, and Social Work. It aims to develop professionals equipped to meet the growing social needs of students and families. Dr. Bashaer Almatrooshi from ADEK stated their commitment to aligning study fields with industry demands.

"We are aligning our fields of study with industry needs to ensure our graduates are prepared academically," said Dr. Almatrooshi. "In addition, we provide our students with holistic support from the moment they begin their scholarship right through to their professional careers." This comprehensive approach ensures graduates possess necessary skills for future employment.

ADEK's dedication extends beyond academic preparation. The Abu Dhabi Scholarships Alumni Bootcamp is held annually to equip participants with vital career skills such as CV writing and interview techniques. Alumni also benefit from networking opportunities with peers from previous cohorts.

Alumni Success Stories

Aysha Al Dhaheri, an employee at Abu Dhabi Ports and ADS alumnus shared her experience: "The programme gave me the perfect foundation to pursue my career and get me to where I am today." She emphasised the value of combining academic learning with professional experience as she continues her career journey.

The programme's success is further highlighted by its collaboration with over 200 industry partners. This network enhances ADEK's commitment to connecting students with leading organisations and supplying skilled talent to various industries.

The growth of the ADS programme underscores its impact on education and workforce readiness initiatives in Abu Dhabi. By equipping students with relevant skills and knowledge, it plays a crucial role in shaping future leaders who contribute significantly to society's progress.
