Abu Dhabi Seeks Public Insight For Future Development With Plan Capital Survey

The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has recently unveiled the Plan Capital Survey, a pivotal initiative under the theme "Shaping Tomorrow Together". This strategic move aims at consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as one of the globe’s most habitable, competitive, and dynamic cities. By engaging citizens, residents, and businesses in a comprehensive dialogue, DMT seeks to harness a wide array of insights and ideas to craft the future of the UAE's capital.

Hamad Al Mutawa, Executive Director of Planning and Infrastructure Sector at DMT, emphasized the essence of community aspirations in urban development. "In the heart of every great city lies the collective dreams and aspirations of its people. The Plan Capital Survey embodies our commitment to nurturing these visions, shaping a future Abu Dhabi that reflects the hopes, needs, and ingenuity of every individual and organisation within our vibrant community," Al Mutawa stated. He further highlighted the survey’s role in setting new global standards of excellence by aligning with the community's needs and aspirations.

DMT is actively encouraging public participation in shaping Abu Dhabi’s urban landscape. The survey seeks input on various aspects of city life, including local area enhancements and future developments. It is designed to be inclusive, requiring only four minutes for completion, and is open to all societal segments without discrimination based on education, profession, or background. The survey will remain accessible until 31st May 2024, providing a significant window for contributions.
