Abu Dhabi Launches Sahatna Space On TAMM To Enhance Digital Health Services For Residents

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has introduced Sahatna Space on the TAMM platform. This initiative aims to create a smart, citizen-focused health system. By integrating healthcare services with TAMM, residents can access essential government services and health management tools in one place.

Since its debut at GITEX 2024, Sahatna has quickly become a top health app on Google and Apple Play stores. It attracted over 1 million users in its first year. The transition to Sahatna Space embeds healthcare within TAMM, centralising health in Abu Dhabi’s digital government framework.

Sahatna Space Enhances Abu Dhabi's Health Services

Sahatna Space offers various features for residents. They can register with primary care providers, schedule appointments, manage prescriptions, and access medical records. Additionally, it provides self-assessments, wellness tools, articles, health events, and maternity care resources.

Future updates will introduce AI-driven health assistance, IVF services, and personalised health recommendations. These enhancements aim to make healthcare in Abu Dhabi more proactive and predictive.

Ibrahim Al Jallaf, Executive Director of Digital Health Sector at DoH, stated: "The launch of Sahatna Space on TAMM reflects our vision for an intelligent health system that is proactive, predictive, and personalised. By bringing healthcare into the same platform residents already use for their daily needs, we are removing barriers, empowering individuals, and setting a new global benchmark for citizen-centric digital health."

Saeed Al Mulla from the Department of Government Enablement added: "Sahatna Space on TAMM exemplifies Abu Dhabi’s commitment to designing government around people’s needs and delivering an effortless customer experience. By bringing healthcare into the same ecosystem that serves hundreds of daily interactions, we are advancing a unified and seamless customer experience across government."

Transitioning to TAMM

Current users of Sahatna can still access services through both the app and TAMM until November's end. Afterward, all services will be exclusively available via TAMM. Residents can download TAMM from both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

This integration signifies a major step towards simplifying healthcare access in Abu Dhabi. It aligns with the broader goal of creating a connected digital society prioritising health and well-being.
