Abu Dhabi Judiciary Collaborates With Russian Arbitration Centre For Enhanced Dispute Resolution
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department recently hosted a delegation from the Russian Arbitration Center. The primary focus was on enhancing joint cooperation in training to develop judicial work procedures.
During the meeting, officials discussed ways to improve mediation and conciliation mechanisms. These efforts aim to resolve disputes amicably and achieve prompt justice. The discussions were held at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department headquarters, with representatives from both sides present.

The meeting also examined advanced techniques for promoting alternative dispute resolution. This is particularly relevant for commercial and economic disputes. Such measures are intended to foster entrepreneurship and create an attractive environment for investments, aligning with the directives of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Another key point was providing specialised training in judicial work. This training aims to qualify cadres of conciliators according to internationally accepted practices. These initiatives are designed to enhance understanding between parties involved in civil and business lawsuits, aiming for settlements without formal litigation.
The discussions also focused on joint coordination mechanisms to consolidate alternative solutions for resolving disputes. This aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. His vision emphasises supporting amicable solutions for settling disputes.
These efforts are part of a broader strategy to strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a regional and global player in dispute resolution. By implementing these measures, the department aims to create a stimulating environment for investments and entrepreneurship.
The meeting concluded with both sides agreeing on the importance of continuous collaboration. They recognised that such cooperation is vital for developing effective judicial work procedures and fostering an environment conducive to investment and economic growth.
This initiative reflects ongoing efforts by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to enhance its judicial processes through international cooperation and specialised training programs.
