Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Unveils Advanced App For Legal Services

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has recently unveiled an updated version of its application, marking a significant step forward in the digital transformation of the judicial system. This initiative is part of a broader effort to align with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the ADJD. The app aims to provide a seamless and efficient platform for users to access and manage their judicial files.

Counselor Yousef Saeed Alabri, Undersecretary of the ADJD, emphasized that this development is a continuation of the department's commitment to enhancing the judicial system through technological advancements. The application serves as an integrated platform that facilitates easy access to court and prosecution unit developments across Abu Dhabi. By incorporating business intelligence processes, the app ensures that users can stay informed about their cases with ease.

ADJD's New Legal Services App

The introduction of the upgraded application is a testament to the ADJD's strides towards implementing digital transformation strategies. These strategies are in line with both the department's Strategic Plan and its focus on technical development and smart services. The app integrates with the UAE Pass (digital ID), offering a range of functionalities designed to streamline judicial processes for users.

Key features of the application include the ability to follow up on case files and their status in courts and public prosecution units, review case details, upload documents, file applications, and make payments for fines and dues through various digital payment solutions such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Users can also update their international bank account number (IBAN) for court cases, follow up on hearing schedules, attend hearings remotely, inquire about case and criminal file status, access notary public and authentication transactions, and manage digital marriage contracts.

An innovative notification feature has been introduced to keep litigants informed about judgments in their cases, necessary procedures, and updates on their judicial files. This feature aims to guide users through subsequent actions required in their legal journey. The ADJD's efforts in upgrading this application underscore its dedication to leveraging technology to enhance judicial services and user experience in Abu Dhabi.
