Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Introduces Digital Marriage Contracts Through TAMM Platform

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has partnered with the Department of Government Enablement to introduce a digital marriage contract service via the Abu Dhabi Government Services platform, "TAMM". This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance digital transformation, simplify customer experiences, and modernise notary services using advanced technology.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion's participation at GITEX Global 2025, held at Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13 to 17. Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of ADJD, and Dr. Mohamed Abdelhamid Al Askar, Director-General of "TAMM", formalised the agreement.

Digital Marriage Contracts Launched in Abu Dhabi

Yousef Al Abri highlighted that offering marriage contract services through "TAMM" is a major step in the department’s digital transformation. He emphasised that integrating service channels into a unified system enhances institutional efficiency and improves customer experience. This aligns with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision for continuous development and innovative smart services.

Dr. Mohamed Al Askar remarked, "The integration of marriage contracts service into the TAMM platform represents a significant milestone that reflects cooperation with Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. It aims to continuously facilitate the lives of community members and share with them one of the most important moments in their lives through the new AI-powered version of 'TAMM'."

The new service enables users to complete the entire marriage process electronically and securely via "TAMM". From submitting applications and entering details for all parties involved to electronic approval and issuing a digitally certified marriage contract, users can manage everything online. They can also request authentication from relevant authorities and obtain an approved digital copy instantly.

This platform significantly reduces procedural steps, saving time and effort by eliminating the need to navigate multiple systems or re-enter data. It contributes to faster service delivery in line with government directives to streamline processes using advanced technology.

User-Friendly Interface and Advanced Infrastructure

The service features a simple interface with clear step-by-step guidance, instant data verification, and high processing speed. It relies on an advanced digital infrastructure connected to UAE Pass and government databases, enabling access to personal data and pre-marital medical information. This ensures marriage contracts are issued and authenticated digitally according to international standards.

Al Abri added that this initiative is part of ADJD’s strategy to leverage modern technologies and best practices globally. The aim is to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and speed in procedures while supporting Abu Dhabi’s leadership in building a smart judicial system.

This collaboration between ADJD and the Department of Government Enablement marks a significant advancement in providing efficient public services. By embracing digital solutions, they aim to enhance user experience while maintaining high standards of reliability and security.
