Abu Dhabi To Host 3rd Edition Of Congress On Arabic Publishing And Creative Industries

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is set to host the third edition of the International Congress of Arabic Publishing and Creative Industries (Congress PCI) on April 28th at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi. This event, themed "Technological Transformations in the Publishing Industry and Drivers of Change," marks the beginning of the "Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024." It will gather speakers from 50 countries across diverse cultural and creative fields, aiming to enhance innovation and collaboration within the Arabic literature and creative works sector.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, expressed optimism that the congress would elevate the publishing sector and emphasize the importance of the Arabic language in fostering cross-cultural understanding. Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of the ALC, noted the congress's role in linking the Arabic language with cultural and creative industries.
