Abu Dhabi Book Fair 2024 Unveils Special Offers For Avid Readers And Cultural Enthusiasts

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) 2024, under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) and themed "Where the World’s Tales Unfold", is set to enchant book enthusiasts with a plethora of offers and discounts. This initiative, part of the 33rd edition of the Fair, aims to foster a love for reading and promote cultural exchange on a global scale. With around 1,350 exhibitors from 90 countries, the Fair is a melting pot of cultures and narratives, offering visitors an unparalleled opportunity to explore a vast selection of books across various genres.

Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, the Executive Director of ALC and Director of ADIBF, highlighted the Fair's evolution into a pivotal cultural event in the region. It attracts a wide array of leaders from the creative, cultural, and publishing sectors worldwide. This year’s edition is dedicated to offering innovative initiatives that enrich visitors' experiences with knowledge and creativity. The Fair also aims to bolster Abu Dhabi’s status as an international cultural hub, emphasizing the emirate's commitment to promoting the Arabic language and facilitating intellectual exchange.

The 2024 edition of ADIBF is brimming with new initiatives and events. It honors Egypt as the Guest of Honour and celebrates the renowned Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz as the Focus Personality. Additionally, the introduction of the Book of the World programme showcases influential works that have shaped global culture. Attendees can look forward to an agenda packed with cultural and professional programmes, activities for children and families, and a vast array of print, e-books, and audiobooks.

An exciting offer for this year’s visitors includes free one-time entry to Qasr Al Hosn and Louvre Abu Dhabi museums with every Fair ticket. This offer is valid for two weeks, starting from the opening day on 29th April until 12th May 2024. Furthermore, publishing partners at the Fair are extending exclusive discounts to visitors. The Rufoof platform is offering a special three-month subscription for a nominal fee of AED30. Additionally, attendees can enjoy a 60 percent discount on an annual subscription to Storytel and a 50 percent discount on Iqraaly’s annual subscription throughout the Fair’s duration.

In collaboration with Diwan Publishing, Iqraaly presents a special tribute to Naguib Mahfouz by providing free access to his works on their application during ADIBF 2024. This gesture not only honors Mahfouz’s literary legacy but also underscores the Fair's commitment to celebrating literary giants who have left an indelible mark on world culture.
