Abu Dhabi's New ISKAN App: A Digital Gateway To Housing Services

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) has recently unveiled the integrated edition of its smart application, 'ISKAN Abu Dhabi'. This platform is designed to be a comprehensive solution for Abu Dhabi citizens, offering easy access to a broad spectrum of housing services. From housing loans and grants to the exchange and purchase of residential land, 'ISKAN Abu Dhabi' simplifies the process for citizens to avail themselves of their housing benefits without the need to physically visit service centers.

Hamad Hareb AlMuhairi, Director General of ADHA, emphasized the app's role in fostering a sustainable housing ecosystem in Abu Dhabi. He highlighted that 'ISKAN Abu Dhabi' is part of an initiative to provide pioneering housing solutions and ensure a seamless digital user experience. The app's development reflects ADHA's commitment to digital innovation and operational efficiency, aiming to enrich the lives of citizens within cohesive communities.

AlMuhairi further stated that ADHA is focused on automating its service offerings through the app, aligning with the 'Abu Dhabi Program for Effortless Customer Experience'. This move towards full digital transformation is intended to enhance customer satisfaction rates for housing services in the emirate.

'ISKAN Abu Dhabi' allows users to create profiles, track their requests, and automatically check their eligibility for ADHA services. It also provides detailed guidance on completing the housing application process. The app offers additional functionalities such as loan exemption, modification, and early payment services, among others. It also features a comparison tool for current and upcoming housing projects, enabling users to select benefits that best suit their needs.

A notable aspect of 'ISKAN Abu Dhabi' is its integration with over 25 public and private sector organisations. This integration transforms it into a comprehensive digital housing system that extends beyond ADHA's services. Users can access a range of services through the app, including property registration, mortgage transactions, and the Financial Awareness Program necessary for housing loans.

For those preferring in-person interactions, the app provides an option to schedule appointments at Iskan Abu Dhabi Centre. It also includes a support feature and a list of frequently asked questions to assist users.

The 'ISKAN Abu Dhabi' app has been recognized for its social impact, winning the 'UAE Innovates 2024' Award in the special category as the 'Most Impactful Social Innovation'. By the end of 2023, it achieved a remarkable satisfaction rate of 98% among users of housing services. This accolade underscores the app's effectiveness in enhancing the housing service experience for citizens in Abu Dhabi.
