Abu Dhabi's Health Department Partners with AI71 to Elevate Healthcare Through AI

In a significant move towards revolutionising the healthcare sector in the UAE, AI71, an innovative AI firm initiated by Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and VentureOne, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH). This collaboration, announced on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024, aims to usher in a new era of healthcare advancements through the application of cutting-edge AI technology.

The partnership is centered around AI71’s medical product RAZI71, which is powered by Falcon LLM. This technology is designed to enhance clinical decision-making processes, making them more efficient and effective. The potential applications of RAZI71 include improving diagnostic accuracy, personalising treatment plans based on individual patient data, and enhancing patient outcomes through insightful data analysis. This initiative underscores the UAE’s commitment to leveraging Artificial Intelligence in transforming its healthcare sector.

The MoU was officially signed by Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Under-Secretary of DoH, and Shahab Issa Abu Shahab, Director-General of ATRC. Shahab Issa Abu Shahab expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This partnership between AI71 and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health marks a pivotal moment in further enriching Abu Dhabi’s advanced healthcare offering. With AI71, we're poised to supercharge healthcare delivery using AI innovation.
