Abu Dhabi Global Health Week 2025 To Address Longevity And Healthcare Innovations From April 15-17

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has announced the second edition of Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW). Scheduled from 15th to 17th April 2025 at ADNEC Centre, this event is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. The theme "Towards Longevity: Redefining Health and Well-being" aims to unite global and regional stakeholders to enhance healthcare and wellbeing.

This year's ADGHW is anticipated to draw over 15,000 participants and 325 exhibitors. It will serve as a dynamic platform for policymakers, researchers, innovators, and investors to share insights, form partnerships, and tackle significant healthcare challenges. The event will highlight specialised tracks like the Forum, which gathers global leaders to focus on collaborative efforts for a positive impact on global health.

Key topics at ADGHW revolve around four thematic pillars: Health Longevity & Personalised Precision Medicine; Health System Resilience & Sustainability; Digital Health & AI; and Investment in Health & Life Sciences. These themes aim to personalise medicine's future, craft future-ready frameworks, revolutionise care through technology, and drive global innovation forward.

ADGHW reflects global healthcare trends by shifting focus from reactive treatment to preventative health approaches. By highlighting advancements in digital health and AI, the event seeks to extend health definitions beyond treatment. It emphasises longevity, wellness, and overall quality of life.

Participants will discover groundbreaking innovations while expanding their expertise and networking with industry leaders. This cements ADGHW as a crucial gathering for stakeholders in healthcare and life sciences sectors.

The 2025 edition will feature the ADGHW Innovation Awards celebrating advances in healthcare. These awards foster innovation and collaboration across the industry by recognising individuals, organisations, and startups pioneering transformative solutions addressing critical global health challenges.

Last year’s inaugural event facilitated 18 agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), attracting over 11,500 visitors from 97 countries. A notable outcome was establishing the Ma’an Health & Life Sciences Research Innovation Fund with over AED19 million allocated to 11 research projects.

Collaborations with Abu Dhabi ecosystem partners like Etihad further established Abu Dhabi as a regional life-science distribution hub. By spotlighting innovations that enhance patient outcomes and streamline delivery, these awards inspire continued progress in healthcare fields.

The upcoming ADGHW promises an engaging forum for exchanging ideas that redefine health's future through collaboration and innovation.
