Abu Dhabi Fund For Development Invests AED 23 Billion In 33 Key Projects Across Bahrain
The collaboration between the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and Bahrain highlights their dedication to mutual growth and sustainable progress. ADFD has invested in 33 projects in Bahrain, totalling AED23 billion. These initiatives span housing, energy, transportation, and health sectors. They aim to meet financial needs and support Bahrain's fiscal balance for 2023 and 2024, enhancing economic growth.

On Bahrain's National Day, December 16, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, ADFD Director General, emphasised the strategic partnership's role in transformative development across various sectors. He stated that ADFD's financial backing and project management expertise have enabled Bahrain to embark on ambitious projects with significant national impact.
ADFD's diverse project portfolio in Bahrain includes critical sectors like housing, energy, transportation, and healthcare. These investments have directly improved the quality of life for Bahraini citizens by addressing essential needs in these areas.
Notable projects include the Salman City Housing Project, which provides affordable homes for many families. The East Sitra Development Project has expanded land for new residential and commercial zones. Additionally, the Sheikh Zayed Road Expansion has enhanced connectivity and reduced traffic congestion.
