Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2024 Set To Host Its Largest Edition With Over 20,000 Leaders
Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW) will hold its third edition from 9th to 12th December 2024. The event is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. ADQ is the headline partner for this significant gathering.
This year's theme, ‘Welcome to the Capital of Capital’, highlights Abu Dhabi's growing reputation in various sectors. Discussions will focus on economic, human, cultural, environmental, and technological capital. These elements have been pivotal in establishing Abu Dhabi as a leading financial hub globally.

The event will feature over 60 industry-shaping events and strategic forums. Attendees can expect 350 thematic sessions and insights from 600 influential speakers. More than 20,000 leaders, experts, and executives from the financial services industry are anticipated to attend. Collectively, they represent assets exceeding US$42.5 trillion.
Several flagship forums will be held during ADFW. These include the Abu Dhabi Economic Forum, Asset Abu Dhabi, RESOLVE 2024, Fintech Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Forum (ADSFF). Each forum aims to address critical topics within the financial sector.
Prominent figures confirmed to speak include Ray Dalio of Bridgewater Associates and Larry Fink of Blackrock. Other notable speakers are Sergio Ermotti from UBS and H.E. Carme Artigas Brugal from the United Nations AI High-Level Advisory Board. Their participation underscores the event's global significance.
The official opening ceremony is scheduled for 9th December. It will be attended by government officials from Abu Dhabi and leaders from top global investment firms. VIPs from various sectors within the financial industry will also be present at this prestigious event.

Additional distinguished speakers include Peter Abraam of International Holding Company (IHC) and Dhaen AlHameli of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Aron Landy from Brevan Howard and William E. Ford of General Atlantic are also set to contribute their insights.
