Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship To Showcase Elite Jiu-Jitsu Talent In Paris Tomorrow
The ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC 9) is set to begin on Saturday in Paris, France. Organised by International Vision Sports Management with an Emirati vision, this event will feature top Jiu-Jitsu and combat sports stars from around the globe. The historic Dojo arena, a renowned sports landmark in Paris, will host the championship.
This event underscores Abu Dhabi's leadership in elite sports and its role in promoting combat disciplines worldwide. The Emirati model successfully exports world-class sporting experiences to major cities. A press conference on Thursday in Paris highlighted Abu Dhabi's positive impact on grappling through ADXC, which combines competitiveness with high organisational standards.

French Olympic champion Guillaume Chaine is debuting in no-gi grappling at this event. He remarked, "Abu Dhabi has succeeded in establishing a new model for combat sports. My participation in this championship marks a new chapter in my career, in a venue I know well, but under a fresh and exciting format."
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu star Gabriel Sousa praised the event as setting a new standard for elite matchups. He stated, "Hosting this championship in France sends a message from Abu Dhabi to the world that grappling has no borders. What French athlete Anthony de Oliveira is delivering proves that Europe has talents worthy of such platforms."
French champion Aurélie Le Vern commended the event’s hosting in Paris for enhancing women's presence in grappling. She said, "Participating in a championship organised by Abu Dhabi gives us the opportunity to compete in a fully professional environment, which motivates us to deliver our best inside the cage."

French fighter Kalim Mstouri expressed pride in facing Robson Gracie Jr., saying, "Participating in a championship organised by Abu Dhabi is a key milestone in my career and a challenge I approach with full determination." Veteran athlete Nicolas Renier shared his excitement about competing at 40, noting that hosting such an event reflects Abu Dhabi’s leadership.
