Abu Dhabi Exports Office Champions UAE Economic Growth At Prestigious TXF MENA Conference

The Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX), a pivotal arm of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), recently marked its presence at the TXF MENA conference for the third consecutive year. This event, held in Dubai on 5-6 March, served as a crucial gathering point for industry leaders and experts to deliberate on the prevailing economic conditions and scout for potential deals and collaborations.

Khalil Al Mansoori, the Acting Director-General of ADEX, took the stage to deliver a keynote address that underscored the significance of this conference for the regional economy, particularly highlighting the UAE's reliance on the export sector as a cornerstone of economic development. Al Mansoori pointed out that ADEX's involvement in TXF MENA is a testament to its dedication towards bolstering the national economic agenda through sustainable and inclusive growth.

"Our presence in TXF MENA is part of our commitment to aligning with national objectives and collaborating closely with partners to strengthen and expand our export sector," Al Mansoori stated. He further elaborated on ADEX's unique position under the ADFD umbrella, which boasts over 50 years of global engagement with governments and financial institutions across 106 countries.

Al Mansoori's call to action for both local and international financial institutions was clear: collaborate with ADEX to foster development in the UAE’s export sector. He emphasized that such partnerships are instrumental in extending ADEX's reach and impact, thereby enhancing financing access for importers of UAE goods and services and improving the competitiveness of UAE exports.

The conference featured an array of insightful panel discussions, country-focused workshops, forums, and roundtables led by heads of export and project finance. These sessions provided valuable platforms for participants to exchange ideas and explore avenues for future collaborations.
