The congress, themed "Practical Approaches in Rehabilitation Medicine and Psychology," is organised by the Zayed Authority for People of Determination and the Emirates Scholar Centre for Research and Studies. It receives support from ADNOC and the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau. The event partners with the Emirates Medical Association and the European Medical Association, involving prominent academic and research institutions globally.

The Steering Committee is finalising preparations for this significant scientific platform. It aims to highlight cutting-edge practices in rehabilitation medicine and psychology, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's status as a global hub for medical conferences. Abdulla Abdulalee Al Humaidan, Director-General of the Zayed Authority for People of Determination, emphasised that hosting this event aligns with their strategic goal of developing comprehensive rehabilitation systems.
Dr. Fawaz Habbal, Director-General of the Emirates Scholar Centre for Research and Studies, noted that this congress will act as a scientific beacon. It aims to enhance research's role in advancing mental and physical healthcare systems while positioning the UAE as a knowledge bridge between the Arab world and Europe in medicine.
The agenda includes over 15 specialised sessions focusing on psychiatry, neuroscience, and rehabilitation advancements. Topics cover cognitive behavioural therapy protocols, innovations in treating depression and anxiety disorders, AI and robotics in recovery programmes, and tailored treatment models for children, seniors, and People of Determination.
Organisers urge doctors, researchers, specialists, and those interested in rehabilitation medicine to participate actively in the congress. Attendees are encouraged to join scientific sessions and celebrate World Mental Health Day. More details about the programme are available on the official congress website at www.euroarabmed.com.
