Abu Dhabi Customs And Executive Office For Control Enhance Digital Integration Through New MoU
Abu Dhabi Customs and the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation have formalised a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to enhance electronic integration, simplify processes, and speed up transaction completion. The initiative aligns with the "Zero Government Bureaucracy" programme, aiming to boost customer satisfaction and transparency. It supports Abu Dhabi's strategic goals of digital transformation and effective partnerships to create a competitive business environment.
The MoU was signed by Mubarak Matar Al Mansoori from Abu Dhabi Customs and Talal Mohammed Al Tunaiji from the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Customs, witnessed the signing. This agreement highlights both parties' dedication to enhancing cooperation and delivering exceptional services to customers while improving institutional efficiency.

Key areas of collaboration include aligning technical systems to support electronic integration mechanisms. The agreement establishes a framework for accurate data exchange, defining data categories and ensuring privacy protection. Joint technical projects will be implemented to meet both entities' objectives, alongside workshops and training sessions to share technical expertise.
Al Mansoori emphasised the importance of this MoU in advancing joint efforts for digital integration. He stated that it aims to develop a unified technical system that simplifies procedures while ensuring transparency and security. "This reinforces Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s position as a trusted global hub for trade and business," he added.
Commitment to National Efforts
Al Tunaiji expressed commitment to supporting national control and non-proliferation efforts through technology integration with strategic partners. He noted that this would ensure information accuracy, enhance decision-making speed, and improve regulatory measures' effectiveness. "This contributes to the highest levels of compliance with international standards," he said.
The MoU reflects a shared vision for strengthening cooperation, coordination, and strategic partnerships between the two entities.
