Abu Dhabi Customs Unveils AI Innovations At GITEX Global 2025 To Enhance Operations
Abu Dhabi Customs is showcasing its latest digital innovations at the 45th GITEX Global 2025. The event is held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 13 to 17. As part of the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion, they are presenting AI-driven solutions aimed at enhancing customs operations and reinforcing their global leadership.
Their participation underscores a commitment to trade facilitation, improving customer experiences, and supporting Abu Dhabi's vision as a global economic hub. This vision includes attracting investments and developing infrastructure for sustainable growth.

A major highlight is the introduction of the Smart Customs Interpreter. Developed entirely by Emirati professionals, this platform uses AI to enable real-time communication in over 90 languages. It combines voice, text, and sign language interpretation into one secure interface, ensuring accurate and confidential exchanges.
This innovative tool reduces the time needed for customs procedures by overcoming language barriers. It also enhances customer service quality and boosts operational efficiency at all border points.
Mohammed Hussein Al Blooshi, Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing at Abu Dhabi Customs, stated that their presence at GITEX Global 2025 demonstrates a dedication to advancing technology in customs.
