Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Celebrates Graduation Of 23 Personnel From International Course In Singapore

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) recently celebrated the graduation of 23 personnel from the 32nd International Rescue and Command Course (RCC). This course was organised by the Civil Defence Academy in Singapore, a leading institution in firefighting and civil protection training. The ceremony took place in Singapore, attended by a delegation led by Colonel Mohammed Nukhaira Saleh Al Mazrouei and several family members of the graduates.

ADCDA emphasised that empowering national talents according to top international standards is crucial for enhancing readiness and efficiency within the civil defence system. This commitment aligns with their strategy to adopt global best practices, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's reputation as one of the safest cities worldwide when facing emergencies and challenges.

Graduation Ceremony for Abu Dhabi Civil Defence

This milestone marks a significant step in developing specialised leaders who can keep up with advancements in civil protection. It enhances operational performance, promotes institutional excellence, and fosters a culture of innovation. These efforts contribute to a proactive, professional, and resilient safety ecosystem.

The course spanned 28 weeks, offering comprehensive training that combined theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Participants were trained across various domains such as firefighting, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, fire investigation, search and rescue, incident management, and other essential areas. This training prepares them for leadership roles in their field.

During the ceremony, student Mohammed Abdulqader Al Shatari Al Hashemi was honoured with the Best International Student Award. This recognition was given for his outstanding academic and practical performance throughout the course.
