The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has announced its participation in the upcoming Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), a key component of the World Future Energy Summit. This significant event, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), is set to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from 16th to 18th April, 2024. The ADSW serves as a crucial platform for local and international entrepreneurs, highlighting the event's vital role in fostering sustainable development, initiating purposeful projects, and leading efforts to combat climate change.
ADCCI's involvement in ADSW will be marked by its own pavilion, showcasing nine national and local companies with expertise in various sectors related to energy and technical solutions. Among these are Dunes & Waves, Yellow, EFATE—Electronic Waste Management, Al Byout AlTiniya (P&M), Verofax, SOLABOLIC, Thamara, and Infinite Roots. Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ADCCI, emphasized the Chamber's commitment to supporting sustainability initiatives that contribute to the UAE's comprehensive development and encourage businesses to actively participate in mitigating the effects of climate change.

Al Qubaisi further elaborated on the significance of the Chamber's participation, noting that it provides an excellent opportunity for companies specializing in energy and sustainability to exchange experiences, showcase best practices, and present the latest innovations in sustainable solutions. This participation not only aims to foster partnerships and attract investments but also supports the Chamber's initiatives to enhance the growth and prosperity of both the private sector and the energy sector in Abu Dhabi specifically.
The ADSW is a highlight of the World Future Energy Summit, featuring a range of activities, panels, and forums. The event will bring together partners from various sectors, including international start-ups and SMEs, to display cutting-edge sustainable technologies in areas such as urban transportation, clean energy, agricultural technologies, and AI. This collaboration underscores Abu Dhabi's commitment to environmental conservation and its efforts to drive investment in the energy sector on both a local and international scale.
