Abu Dhabi Chamber Strengthens International Ties With New Agreements In The USA
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established two significant agreements with the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce and the Texas Association of Business. These agreements were part of a visit by the Abu Dhabi economic delegation to the United States. The aim is to create new opportunities for Abu Dhabi's business community, enhance the UAE private sector's presence in the US, and support economic partnerships aligned with the Chamber’s 2025–2028 roadmap.
The agreement with the North Carolina Chamber focuses on promoting joint investments and facilitating participation in exhibitions and forums for Emirati and American businesses. It also aims to support information exchange on investment climates and trade regulations in both countries. This cooperation includes organising virtual events, reciprocal visits, and establishing a registry of Emirati companies investing in North Carolina as a practical database for joint investment opportunities.

Meanwhile, the agreement with the Texas Association of Business targets expanding trade and industrial cooperation between Abu Dhabi and Texas. This will be achieved through exchanging economic information, facilitating corporate networking, and organising joint events and reciprocal visits. It also encourages participation in specialised exhibitions while fostering innovation through knowledge-sharing and advanced technology adoption.
Both parties have committed to protecting intellectual property rights and ensuring confidentiality of exchanged information. Shames Al Dhaheri, Second Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, stated that these partnerships reflect their commitment to implementing their 2025–2028 roadmap. This plan prioritises empowering the private sector, fostering innovation, and supporting national companies in expanding globally.
Al Dhaheri further mentioned that collaborating with North Carolina Chamber and Texas Business Association will boost Abu Dhabi's status as a global economic hub. It will enable national companies to access new markets while contributing to an innovative business ecosystem capable of meeting future demands.
The agreements also cover technical training expertise and comprehensive support for trade delegations visiting both nations. By encouraging entrepreneurship through knowledge-sharing, these partnerships aim to build a competitive economy as envisioned by wise leadership.
