Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit To Shape The Future Of Smart Mobility And Innovation

The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit, part of the first Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (ADAW), will gather global leaders to shape the future of smart and autonomous mobility. Organised by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC), the summit will occur at Yas Marina Circuit's Vehicle Dynamic Area on 10th November 2025. This event marks the beginning of ADAW, running from 10th to 15th November 2025.

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs and Chairman of SASC, the summit aims to accelerate sustainable transformation in autonomous systems. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan stated, "The Smart and Autonomous Systems Council strives to accelerate sustainable transformation in the autonomous systems sector, ensuring their safe and efficient operation so that Abu Dhabi becomes a global model of innovation and an advanced hub leading the field of cutting-edge technologies."

Abu Dhabi Summit on Smart Mobility Innovations

The programme will delve into essential topics such as integrating air, land, and sea for urban mobility. It will also explore deploying smart mobility models in public transport and establishing global AI governance standards. Discussions will cover public trust in autonomous technologies and cross-sector collaboration to advance autonomy through industry integration.

Attendees will examine scaling innovation, investment, and impact while outlining pathways for technology commercialisation. The focus will be on sustainability and nurturing talent necessary for these advancements. The summit aims to foster a competitive ecosystem enhancing efficiency and quality of life through safe deployment of autonomous technologies.

Throughout ADAW, various events will showcase smart mobility solutions across different domains. DRIFTx, from 10th to 12th November, will feature live exhibitions demonstrating land, sea, air, and robotics solutions. RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025 will take place from 10th to 15th November at Khalifa University. This event marks its debut in the MENA region with international teams competing in AI-driven robotics challenges.

The week concludes with the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) on 15th November. Organised by ASPIRE and Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council, this motorsport event highlights cutting-edge autonomous racing technology with a US$2.25 million prize pool.
