Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence Council Meeting Led By Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Reviews Key Strategies And Developments
H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan led a meeting of the Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council. The session, attended by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focused on the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025–2027. This strategy aims to position Abu Dhabi as the first AI-enabled government globally by 2027.
The council reviewed global AI advancements and updates on local projects, investments, and research in artificial intelligence and advanced technology. H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon praised initiatives that train government employees in AI applications and community programs that increase public awareness of digital transformation.
During discussions, members explored integrating new technologies to enhance services and quality of life. They examined global trends and investment opportunities in the sector. The council also discussed Abu Dhabi's future AI vision, focusing on attracting leading AI companies, top talent, and boosting international competitiveness.
Key projects led by national entities like Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Department of Government Enablement, and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) were highlighted. These initiatives aim to strengthen collaboration between public and private sectors.
The council's efforts align with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision to support future sectors and advanced technology.
