Khazanat Al Kutub Initiative Brings ALC's Latest Publications To Abu Dhabi And Al Ain

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) has enriched its Khazanat Al Kutub initiative with a fresh collection of publications. These will be distributed in various locations across Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. This effort is part of the Centre’s mission to enhance readers' knowledge, encourage reading as a daily habit, and make books accessible to everyone.

For the summer season and the third quarter of 2024, the initiative includes seven events nationwide. These events aim to reach a broad audience and showcase the ALC's latest publications. The Khazanat Al Kutub stand will be present at the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipality from 27th June to 12th July 2024.

Readers in Abu Dhabi can explore over 250 titles at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall from 30th June to 15th July. The selection includes works from the Kalima Project for Translation and the Basaer (Insights) series of research papers and studies. This event at a prominent mall aligns with the Centre’s goal to diversify locations covered by the initiative, promoting new publications and enabling visitors to acquire them.

The stand will offer more than 250 titles, including special publications from the Kalima Project for Translation and the Basaer (Insights) series. This event, held for the third time at Al Ain Municipality, aims to promote ALC’s publications among municipality employees and visitors.

Khazanat Al Kutub is well-received by visitors eager to obtain titles across various fields such as children’s literature, travel literature, heritage, history, geography, biography, literature, arts, sports, natural sciences, social sciences, philosophy, psychology, and general knowledge. The initiative has seen increased interest on weekends from enthusiasts and readers.

The initiative's popularity is particularly notable in children's and young adult literature. This growing interest highlights the community's enthusiasm for diverse literary genres offered by Khazanat Al Kutub.

The ALC continues its efforts to foster a culture of reading through these initiatives. By making books available in accessible locations like shopping centres and municipal offices, they aim to integrate reading into daily life for all community members.
