Abdullah Bin Zayed And Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister Discuss Cooperation And Sign Two MoUs

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently visited Islamabad. He met with Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. Their discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral relationship between the UAE and Pakistan. They explored ways to enhance cooperation in various fields that benefit both nations.

The meeting also involved reviewing key aspects of the strategic partnership between the two countries. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the strong friendship shared by the UAE and Pakistan. He noted their mutual commitment to enhancing ties in sectors that align with their developmental goals.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with Muhammad Ishaq Dar to further develop these distinguished relations. He wished for continued prosperity and progress for Pakistan and its people. The meeting concluded with significant agreements aimed at fostering collaboration.

Among the agreements signed were two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and one formal agreement. These documents aim to solidify cooperation in various areas, reflecting the shared interests of both nations.

One MoU established a Joint Consular Affairs Committee, signed by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and Ishaq Dar. Additionally, they signed an agreement to enhance cultural cooperation between their countries.

The leaders also witnessed the exchange of an MoU to create a UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council. This exchange was conducted by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was attended by several notable figures from both nations. Among them were Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri; Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability; and Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Pakistan.

This gathering underscored the commitment of both countries to deepen their partnership across multiple sectors. The agreements reached are expected to pave the way for enhanced collaboration in areas vital to their mutual interests.
