Abdullah Bin Zayed Participates In Multilateral Meeting With US President To Address Gaza Conflict
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended a significant meeting in New York. This gathering, held during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80), was organised by the United States. It included several Arab and Islamic leaders who discussed pressing global issues.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar; His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan; Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Türkiye; Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia; Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan; Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt; and Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister.
Key topics included ending the ongoing conflict in Gaza and establishing a lasting ceasefire. The leaders also discussed securing the release of hostages and addressing the humanitarian crisis affecting civilians in the region. These discussions aimed to find sustainable solutions to these urgent issues.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah praised US President Donald Trump's efforts to resolve the conflict and prevent further casualties. He highlighted the importance of alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and ensuring the release of all hostages. The UAE expressed strong support for initiatives that contribute to peace between Palestinians and Israelis.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah stressed avoiding unilateral actions that could hinder international efforts towards a two-state solution. Establishing an independent Palestinian state remains a priority for achieving long-term peace in the region.
