Abdullah Bin Zayed And Pakistan's Prime Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently visited Islamabad. During his visit, he met with Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan. General Asim Munir, Pakistan's Chief of the Army Staff, was also present at the meeting. This gathering was part of Sheikh Abdullah's working visit to Pakistan.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed pride in visiting Pakistan, highlighting the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries. He emphasised their shared commitment to furthering this partnership. "Both countries share a strong mutual will and commitment to further strengthen this distinguished partnership," he stated.

The meeting also reviewed outcomes from H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's recent visit to Pakistan in February. This visit played a significant role in enhancing collaboration across several strategic sectors. The discussions aimed at building on these developments for future cooperation.

During the meeting, regional and international issues of joint interest were discussed. The leaders exchanged views on current developments affecting both nations. Such dialogues are crucial for maintaining strong diplomatic ties and addressing global challenges collaboratively.
