Abdullah Bin Zayed And Narendra Modi Discuss Strengthening UAE-India Relations In New Delhi Meeting
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently met with Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India. This meeting marked the beginning of Sheikh Abdullah's official visit to New Delhi for the India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting and the Fourth UAE-India Strategic Dialogue.
During their meeting, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed greetings from UAE leaders, including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. They extended their best wishes for India's continued prosperity. Prime Minister Modi reciprocated with warm wishes for the UAE's ongoing success.
Sheikh Abdullah expressed pride in the longstanding relationship between the UAE and India. He noted that over 50 years, both nations have built a unique partnership based on trust, respect, and shared interests. "This partnership has evolved into a comprehensive collaboration that contributes to sustainable development and prosperity for both nations' peoples," he stated.
The discussions highlighted the significance of the India-UAE Joint Commission Meeting and the Fourth UAE-India Strategic Dialogue. The meeting was attended by several key figures from the UAE, including Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank; Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; and Dr. Abdul Nasser Al Shaali, UAE Ambassador to India.
