Abdullah Bin Zayed And Israeli Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations And Regional Developments

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, recently met with Gideon Sa'ar, Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Abu Dhabi. The discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral ties between the UAE and Israel. They also examined recent regional developments and their effects, especially concerning the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The meeting highlighted the urgent need for a ceasefire and the release of hostages. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah emphasised that avoiding further conflict escalation is crucial. He reiterated the UAE's commitment to diplomatic efforts aimed at civilian protection and improving responses to Gaza's humanitarian crisis.

Combating Extremism

Addressing extremism, hatred, and racism was another priority discussed by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah during his meeting with Gideon Sa'ar. Promoting tolerance and coexistence is seen as essential for regional stability.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, along with Mohamed Mahmoud Al Khaja, UAE Ambassador to Israel.
