Abdullah Bin Zayed Meets Hussein Al-Sheikh To Address Regional Developments And Humanitarian Crisis
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Hussein Al-Sheikh, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation and Vice President of the State of Palestine. During their meeting in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Abdullah extended his best wishes to Hussein Al-Sheikh for success in his responsibilities.
The discussions focused on current regional developments and their impacts, particularly the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza. Both leaders stressed the need for increased international efforts to address urgent humanitarian needs for civilians in the area.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE's enduring support for the Palestinian people. He highlighted the country's commitment to backing their legitimate aspirations for peace, stability, development, and a dignified life. The UAE remains steadfast in its support for sustainable peace initiatives.
