Abdulla Al Hamed Launches BRIDGE Alliance With Global Board To Enhance Media And Content Economy

The BRIDGE Alliance, a new international organisation, has been launched by Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed. This initiative aims to enhance inclusivity and diversity in media, content, and entertainment globally. Based in the UAE, the Alliance is chaired by Al Hamed and features a board of influential figures from various sectors. Their mission is to create a collaborative and future-ready content ecosystem.

During its inaugural meeting in Abu Dhabi, the BRIDGE Alliance Board of Directors was formally established under Al Hamed's leadership. The organisation seeks to build a connected global media framework that reflects collaboration and responsibility. It reinvests operational surpluses into research and cross-sector collaboration to foster innovation and sustainable growth in media.

BRIDGE Alliance Launched by Abdulla Al Hamed

The Board of Directors includes notable figures such as Her Royal Highness Princess Lamia bint Majed Al Saud, Macky Sall, Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Jessica Sibley, Janet Yang, Dr. Julie Gichuru, Daniil Shuleyko, Sanford Climan, Richard Attias, and Maryam bin Fahad. These leaders provide strategic oversight and policy direction for the Alliance's initiatives.

Al Hamed described the BRIDGE Alliance as a project born in the UAE to redefine media's role in society and the economy. He emphasised its purpose to unite nations through understanding and growth at a time when humanity needs platforms that inspire rather than mislead.

The first major initiative of the Alliance is the BRIDGE Summit 2025, scheduled from 8th to 10th December 2025 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This event will feature 400 global speakers, 300 exhibitors, and over 60,000 participants across seven content tracks: Media, Creator Economy, Music, Gaming, Technology, Marketing, and Picture.

Maryam bin Fahad highlighted that every aspect of the Summit has been designed to promote collaboration and sustainable growth in the global content economy. The event aims to turn dialogue into action by shaping partnerships and investments that expand access to this economy.

Transforming Media into Economic Value

Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi stated that BRIDGE Alliance connects creators, investors, decision-makers, and innovators to strengthen cooperation and unlock new growth opportunities. He noted that media has become central to growth and innovation worldwide.

Richard Attias explained the dual governance model of BRIDGE — comprising a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board — ensures clarity as it evolves into a permanent global entity. The Alliance aims to transform media power into economic value through research support and partnership development.

A New Model for Responsible Media

Al Hamed expressed that BRIDGE represents a new model for responsible media built on diversity and shared progress. He stated that it stands as an alliance that builds rather than breaks barriers while opening doors for media as a driver of development.

The UAE serves as an ideal base for this initiative due to its position as a centre for global dialogue connecting creativity with economy. The country believes in using media positively to build awareness and expand cooperation opportunities globally.

The BRIDGE Alliance aims to become a leading hub for innovation across media sectors from its UAE headquarters. Through cross-sector integration and talent development efforts guided by its distinguished Board members' expertise rooted in credibility — it will set agendas worldwide beginning with December's landmark summit.
