89 Palestinians Killed In Last 24 Hours Amid Ongoing Israeli Aggression In Gaza Strip

Medical sources report that in the last 24 hours, at least 89 Palestinians have died and 435 others have been injured in the Gaza Strip due to ongoing Israeli actions. The Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) cites local health authorities confirming these figures. The majority of those affected are women and children, highlighting the severe impact on civilians.

The Gaza Ministry of Health states that since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli aggression has reached 59,587, with 143,498 individuals wounded. This significant number underscores the intense violence experienced in the region. Hospitals have received numerous bodies and injured individuals daily as a result of this conflict.

89 Palestinians Killed in Recent Violence

Following a breach of a ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2024, Israel resumed its assault on Gaza. Since then, the death toll has risen to 8,447 with an additional 31,457 people injured. This resumption of hostilities has exacerbated an already dire humanitarian situation in the area.

The Ministry of Health reported that hospitals received 89 bodies within a day, including ten recovered from rubble. Additionally, there were 453 wounded individuals brought in for treatment. Many victims remain trapped under debris and are unreachable by rescue teams due to ongoing hostilities.

In recent days, hospitals also received 23 bodies and over 68 wounded people who were attempting to gather humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of "bread-seekers" martyrs to 1,083 with another 7,275 injured. These figures highlight the desperate situation faced by those seeking basic necessities amid conflict.

The Israeli occupation's renewed assault after violating the ceasefire has led to widespread devastation across Gaza. The region is now facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe as essential services struggle to cope with the influx of casualties and displaced individuals.

The ongoing violence continues to claim lives and cause suffering among civilians in Gaza. As international attention focuses on this crisis, efforts to address the humanitarian needs and seek peaceful resolutions remain critical.
