7X And UAEV Collaborate To Advance Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Across The UAE

7X, a prominent trade and logistics group, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emarat EV Charging Stations Company PJSC (UAEV). This collaboration was announced during GITEX Global 2025. The MoU outlines a cooperative framework to develop and promote electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure throughout the UAE. This initiative aims to speed up the shift to eco-friendly fleets and enhance sustainable mobility solutions across the nation.

The agreement aligns with the UAE's strategic goals to promote clean transportation and achieve national sustainability targets. It also integrates digital innovation through 'Wayn', a secure digital P.O. Box that enhances official communication and service delivery. By leveraging its National Network for Logistics (NXN) and logistics arm EMX, 7X will assist UAEV in accelerating EV adoption using its extensive network of service branches across all emirates.

7X and UAEV Join Forces for EV Infrastructure

Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, stated, "This partnership reflects our commitment to advancing the UAE’s transition to a sustainable low-emission economy while reinforcing its global position in trade, transport and logistics. At 7X, the shift to environmentally friendly fleets and the adoption of electric mobility solutions form the cornerstone of our long-term strategy to improve operational efficiency, reduce emissions and contribute towards creating a globally competitive green economy. Through this collaboration, we seek to establish a distinguished Emirati model that integrates innovation with sustainability and supports the goals of the 'We the UAE 2031' vision and the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative."

The partnership will facilitate integrated charging stations to streamline last-mile operations, cut emissions, and bolster EV charging infrastructure at key locations. It will also encourage sustainable practices within 7X's logistics operations and those of its partners. The collaboration aims to explore additional services like parcel locker integration at charging stations and smart mobility solutions for improved customer convenience.

Ali Al Darwish, CEO of UAEV, remarked, "Our collaboration with 7X represents another important milestone in UAEV’s mission to accelerate the UAE’s transition toward sustainable mobility. By integrating advanced charging infrastructure within 7X’s nationwide network, we are not only expanding accessibility for private EV drivers but also supporting the electrification of commercial vehicle fleets across the Emirates. This collaboration strengthens our collective contribution to the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 vision and reflects our commitment to building a cleaner, smarter, and more connected future."

Commitment to Clean Energy Goals

The joint effort between 7X and UAEV highlights their shared dedication to advancing clean energy initiatives in the UAE. It aims to boost efficiency, lower carbon emissions, and add value to the national economy. Additionally, it seeks to empower communities with access to an advanced EV charging network that aligns with the UAE's vision for a greener future.

This partnership not only supports private EV drivers but also aids in electrifying commercial vehicle fleets across Emirates. By enhancing accessibility through advanced infrastructure within 7X's network, both entities aim to contribute significantly towards achieving Net Zero by 2050 while fostering a cleaner environment for future generations.
