Public Invited To Provide Feedback On 35 Economic Development Projects Via Istitlaa Platform
The National Competitiveness Center’s (NCC) Public Consultation Platform, known as Istitlaa, has introduced 35 projects focusing on economic and development matters. In collaboration with 15 government bodies, the NCC encourages feedback from the public, government entities, and private sectors before these projects receive approval.
Among the key initiatives is a project titled ‘Municipal Requirements for Mobile Carts,’ crafted by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. This project aims to enhance the business environment to meet broader aspirations. Feedback on this initiative can be submitted through the Istitlaa platform.

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants is also seeking public input on a new regulatory framework called ‘Amendments to the Implementing Regulations of the Law of the Profession of Accounting and Auditing.’ This project focuses on organizing the licensing process. The consultation period for this project remains open until a specified date.
Additionally, the Ministry of Tourism has proposed a project named ‘Amendment of the Violation Table for Travel and Tourism Services Activities.’ This initiative aims to enhance tourism service quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and balance oversight with sector growth. Public feedback on this project will be accepted until a designated date.
The Saudi Ports Authority seeks public opinion on its new project titled ‘Amendment of Port Services Fees and Charges Regulation.’ The goal is to improve operational process quality and efficiency. The consultation period for this project will end on a specific date.
By introducing draft regulations and similar projects through Istitlaa, transparency in legislative processes is affirmed. Istitlaa promotes public involvement by allowing citizens, government agencies, and private sectors to share insights on proposed business environment regulations.
